The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has initial experience and an interest to grow in building business partnerships, continuous process improvement, and managing requirements for a technical area. Candidate must have at least a basic understanding of cloud security and operations. This role is ideal for someone who has some initial management experience (or strong potential) and is looking to grow into a senior cybersecurity manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cloud compliance services including risk assessment, control assurance, and issue remediation.
  • Continuously improve processes and technologies in order to accelerate cloud adoption, increase control assurance, and reduce risk.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships across the enterprise – including partnerships with business unit leads, internal compliance authorities, and vendors.
  • Develop guidance to clarify and enhance our partnerships with business units and compliance authorities.
  • Manage requirements and standards that the cloud team must comply with (e.g., CMMC, ISO 27001).

Experience/Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • A desire and potential to grow and develop as a cybersecurity manager, along with the ability to independently own goals and ensure outcomes.
  • A fundamental understanding of cybersecurity and operations.
  • Experience (or high potential) in service management and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing standards or requirements (either to external standards like NIST 800-171 or to internal policy).
  • A practical understanding of cloud environments and operations (enough to understand the subject area, however, engineering-level experience is not required).
  • Experience independently accomplishing major project deliverables.

Should Have:

  • Proficiency working with Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies.

Education:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Preferred Qualification:

  • CISSP
  • CISA
