Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in patient care by collecting blood samples and ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our patients. Mon-Friday 8am-5pm- 18 weeks possibly convert to full time opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and capillary draws with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients and accurate labeling of samples.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate concerns and provide instructions.
• Document all procedures and maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Assist in training new staff members and interns as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomist Certification

• Current BLS Certification

• Current TB

• Immunization record

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
