We specialize in transporting and delivering refrigeration systems, supermarket fixtures, and shelving for new store construction and remodel projects throughout the Western United States.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A vehicle to transport goods to various locations. (Local and OTR routes available)
  • Deliver Refrigeration equipment and supermarket fixtures to new and remodeled grocery stores.
  • Typical routes (Northern California, Reno NV, SoCal, Portland OR, and local deliveries withing approximately 100 miles of Oakley, CA.
  • Safely operate 2024 or newer Peterbilt three-axle day cabs and sleeper tractors.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 2 years of Commercial driving experience (3 years preferred) with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

You should be proficient in:

  • DOT Medical Card
  • Driver's License
  • Current CDL License
  • DOT & Equipment Inspection Compliance
