Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods to various locations in a timely manner while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring that all cargo is secured properly.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and vehicle maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
