We have partnered with a company in Manassas a reliable and safety-conscious **Class A Driver **to transport materials such asconduit, hand holes, dirt, gravel, sand, or asphalt to and from construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Class A CDL trucks to includedump trucks, water truck, vac trucks, and rollbacksin a variety of environments and must be committed to maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety and DOT regulations.This is a direct hire long-term position

DRIVERS are EXPECTED to help with the general laborer work

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate trucks to complete required tasks.
Load and unload materials as required (may involve coordination with loading equipment).
Inspect vehicle daily for safety and maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete paperwork as required.
Communicate with dispatch, site personnel, and supervisors regarding deliveries and routes.
Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Perform minor truck maintenance (check oil, lights, tires, etc.) and report larger issues.
Maintain cleanliness of truck interior and exterior.
Assist crew with site-related tasks when required.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A license
Minimum [2] years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Clean driving record (MVR).
Experience with construction or heavy equipment operations is a plus.
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations and procedures.
Must pass a drug test and DOT physical.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
