Job Overview:

Shift: M-F 6:30am- 3:00pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 IPC Certified Assembly Team Member responsible for kitting, assembling, and packaging electronic equipment built to Class 3 standards for high-reliability products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, work instructions, and verbal/written directions to complete assembly tasks according to quality standards
  • Work with complex measurements using rulers and other measuring tools
  • Perform advanced soldering and crimping operations
  • Identify and select various wire sizes for production needs
  • Operate crimping machines and change dies in bench-top crimpers
  • Complete kitting and bagging processes for shipment preparation
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble, align, and adjust electronic components
  • Assemble or modify electronic equipment and ensure proper wiring and fit
  • Perform packaging duties and spot-check work completed by others
  • Inspect and test components during and after assembly per quality standards
  • Serve as a go-to resource for advanced assembly questions and Class 3 work guidance
  • Perform in-process inspections, documentation, and proper assembly verification
  • Set up jobs, complete production paperwork, and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of IPC training standards and modules
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow simple instructions; must be able to speak and understand English
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Advanced soldering and crimping skills required
  • Knowledge of kitting and packaging processes
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders
  • Experience using measuring tools (rulers, calipers, micrometers, scales, magnifiers)
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • IPC Certification required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, and reach as needed throughout the shift
  • Frequent sitting may be required
  • Must have good close and color vision with ability to adjust focus
  • Requires fine motor skills for assembly and manipulation of small components
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
