Job Description: Roll Clamp Truck Operator
Location: Glen Allen, VA
¨NBSP;Schedule: Day shift starting at 7:00 AM; weekend work required as needed
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roll Clamp Truck Operator to support warehouse operations by safely and efficiently handling large paper rolls throughout inbound, outbound, and storage processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a roll clamp truck and be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a roll clamp truck to move product throughout the facility
Transfer products between inbound receiving and outbound shipping areas
Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
Pull and stage orders for customer shipments
Use an RF scanner to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records
Follow all safety guidelines, equipment procedures, and warehouse protocols
Assist with general housekeeping—cleaning, sweeping, and maintaining a safe work area
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Previous roll clamp truck experience (required)
Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
Experience using RF scanners preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
Willingness to work some weekend shifts
Work Environment
Day shift beginning at 7:00 AM - days of the week will vary including weekends
Industrial/warehouse environment requiring adherence to safety standards
