We are looking for a Site Manager who will be responsible for on-site management of an assigned Industrial/Petrochemical project and crew. The site manager will be responsible for providing job-site leadership to a crew and liaising with the clients to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Responsibilities
- Ensures crews complete daily job reports, SLAM books, THAs, safety briefings, and stretching program; tracks production, hours, and equipment via HCSS Heavy Job on iPad
- Develops and coordinates future tasks across multiple crews to ensure project completion
- Ensures crew members safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, install water/storm/sewer pipe and structures, and form/pour/finish concrete
- Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed and recorded
- Directs and manages at least two crew members simultaneously
- Liaises with clients, reports progress to staff and public, and travels between job sites as needed
- Buys materials, monitors build costs/progress, and prepares/checks site reports, designs, and drawings
- Maintains quality control
- Provides hiring, promotion, and termination recommendations given significant weight in final decisions
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
- OSHA 30
- Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- The average work week would consist of 5 ten-hour days, but schedule will bedictated by project needs.
- Must be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, and for lengths of time,such as the job would dictate.
