We are seeking a full-time engineering technician to work for our Mid-Atlantic Division (MAD). The technician may report to our office in Elkridge, MD or Vicksburg, MS.
This position involves both office-based work and travel throughout the U.S. and Canada. Office work consists of data processing that includes spreadsheet and database entry, pavement analysis, equipment calibration and repair, clerical tasks, and document processing with Word or Excel. Field work consists of manual pavement inspections as well as driving and operating pavement data collection equipment for pavement and infrastructure assessment.
Computer and basic automotive maintenance skills are required. Training will be provided in field work and office-based pavement evaluation processes.
