Huhtamaki has an immediate opening for a Continuous Improvement Specialist located in our Goodyear location. We are looking for someone with demonstrated successful project management experience with a 4-year degree or equivalent and with a minimum of 3 years Industrial experience. 2 years’ experience in a leadership position is preferred.
Participates in country/BU development projects. Supports operational excellence training design and implementation. Participates in project reviews for ensuring progress in the training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The CI Specialist supports the Continuous Improvement Leader in the strategic planning and execution of the Lean Six sigma project portfolio and the Continuous Improvement Culture of the facility. By working with all levels of the organization the CI Specialist will facilitate cost savings and quality improvement projects within the operations cost center and business groups for the Huhtamaki Goodyear facility.

The qualified candidate will meet the following requirements.
The ability to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time within an office type work environment; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to enter and work within the entire facility- production and maintenance areas; exposure to high and moderately low ambient temperatures at times; strong communication skills both verbal and non-verbal required; good hearing skills; strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Power Point a plus; ability to work on any shift including weekends when needs; some traveling required.
