Job Overview
HVAC Service Technicians specialize primarily on equipment start-up, troubleshooting, and ongoing service for commercial and process HVAC systems, including chillers. The ideal candidate will ensure that installed systems perform as designed, operate efficiently, and meet client expectations for comfort and reliability. The candidate must be able to independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable, and have good customer service skills.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as Ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
Do you have experience with boiler systems and a solid understanding of how buildings are heated by circulating hot water or steam!
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Repair or replace defective parts including compressors, pumps, and motors.
Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites as needed.
Qualifications- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of refrigerate systems, chiller and boiler operations is preferred.- Laars and aerco
Familiarity with appliance repair and equipment repair techniques.
Ability to plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
Certification in HVAC technology or relevant field is preferred but not mandatory
