What you’ll do day-to-day (with your team members):
Create and prioritize the backlog for the RaPID Agile Release Train
Work with your leadership to develop a six-quarter roadmap, and accompanying workforce plan that delivers value to a varied stakeholder group
Focus teams on delivering to identified objectives at the team and enterprise level
Manage a team of highly motivated product owners and systems engineers, with focus on career development
Minimum Requirements for this Position:
Must be a US citizen
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, business or a related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Requires at least 8 years of experience in iterative development methodology such as Agile, Scrum, XP, Lean or similar. A Master's degree may count for 2 years of experience
Demonstrated leadership competencies in a management or product role
Recent experience with Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise
These Skills Would be Amazing:
Prior development experience
Prior management experience leading teams of 10 or more
Exposure to geospatial and GIS technologies, e.g. Esri, ERDAS, geoJSON
Experience leading teams to adopt CI/CD and SOA best practices
Experience leading distributed teams
Knowledge and experience of design thinking and systems engineering principles
SAFe Agilist, SPC, CSPO, or similar certification
Willingness and ability to obtain USG Security Clearance
The compensation range for this position is $106,500.00 - $177,500.00 USD annually, dependent on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus plan.
