We are seeking a Chief of Staff/Operations Lead (Experienced or Senior) to support the BR&T Mission Systems Vice President and leadership team at one of the following locations: Hazelwood, MO; Arlington, VA; Huntsville, AL; Huntington Beach, CA; or Tukwila, WA.

The Chief of Staff/Operations Lead will work closely with the Mission Systems’ Vice President (VP) to execute the organization’s operating rhythm. This includes facilitation of leadership team staff meetings, monthly portfolio reviews and other executive level briefings, leading communication, and engagement activities, as well as leading priority initiatives such as annual Long Range Business Planning, Facility, Resources, and Asset Management Planning, site coordination, and Communication Planning, etc. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, adept at multitasking, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support to Vice President: Assist VP’s executive assistant in schedule coordination, provide meeting coverage to resolve schedule conflicts, provide status of open actions and coordinate with organization leaders to ensure closure of actions.

  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, maintaining distribution lists, managing organizational file shares, Teams sites and website administration.

  • Operations: Facilitate key meetings and briefings including internal portfolio reviews, all team events, business performance reviews, deep dives, etc. Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used, oversight and associated training, to include having responsibility for communicating/deploying command media changes (BR&T, ET&T, Enterprise) Sets targets, flow down, and variance/actions for the BR&T scorecard and organizational Business Goals and Objectives

  • Integration: Lead integration activities to ensure alignment between business and technical communities including portfolio change board, business unit alignment reviews, and technical readiness level gate reviews. Leads the resolution of business and technology issues and works closely with the Quality & Operational Performance team in coordination of integration & operations activities across Integrated Technical Teams (ITTs) at the BR&T level.

  • Communication: Provide high-level communications such as monthly newsletter, organizational announcements, updates on key initiatives, etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, share updates, and ensure alignment on key initiatives and projects.

  • Site level communication and coordination: provide support for BR&T site coordination and communication.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data related to operational and financial performance. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

  • Special Projects: Undertake tasks directed by the VP, which may include data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and strategic planning.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role

  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • 5+ years of experience producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level

  • 5+ years of experience with Management Information Systems (MIS)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Proven experience in executive management support, communications, and collaboration on initiatives that span multiple functions or organizations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data from appropriate sources, summarize findings, and develop recommendations for executive leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Teams, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adaptive Planning, ProMPT, IRE, and ARIBA

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for experienced (Level 3): $87,550 - $126,500

Summary pay range for senior (Level 4): $107,950 - $156,400
