This role ensures equipment uptime, leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manages capital projects, and drives continuous improvement across production, utilities, and automation systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians, mechanics, and engineering staff across all shifts.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, tunnel washers, presses, conveyors, boilers, and finishing systems.
  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Ensure proper calibration, lubrication, and mechanical/electrical upkeep of all machinery and utilities.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement engineering solutions to improve throughput, reduce energy and water consumption, and enhance process efficiency.
  • Support production teams with technical expertise to meet daily output, quality, and service targets.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and asset history using CMMS systems.
  • Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with OSHA, safety standards, and facility policies.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of maintenance or engineering leadership experience in laundry, manufacturing, food, pharma, or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utilities.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast‑paced environment.
