Chemical Technician

Pay: $18-$19

We're seeking a safety-focused, detail-oriented Chemical Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll repackage chemicals from large containers into smaller units while following strict safety, quality, and compliance procedures. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows procedures carefully, and enjoys hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

• Repackage chemicals from bulk containers into smaller packages
• Read, interpret, and execute work orders and specifications
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for inventory and compliance purposes
• Handle hazardous materials and manage waste streams safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Comfortable working with hazardous materials and following strict safety procedures
• Ability to read work orders and complete detailed paperwork accurately
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance

• Push drum carts weighing up to 500 lbs. with assistance

• Climb ladders

• Stand for extended periods

• Frequently bend, squat, reach, push, and pull
