Position Overview

We are seeking a Chemical Process Treatment Technician to safely and efficiently handle the byproducts generated during our metal-plating production processes.

This position will begin at our Titusville, FL facility and transition to our new Edgewater, FL location within the next few months. Candidates must be able to make this transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Process heavy metals, spent chemicals, and wastewater generated by production operations.

• Monitor waste-treatment processes using gauges, dials, controls, and other indicators.

• Operate treatment equipment and verify that processes are functioning properly.

• Troubleshoot processing issues and identify appropriate corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate, consistent, and comprehensive records of treatment operations.

• Ensure compliance with EPA requirements and other applicable regulations.

• Follow company procedures, work instructions, and ISO processes.

• Complete required audit logs and documentation to support effective communication between shifts.

• Assist management with audit responses, regulatory reporting, and issue resolution as needed.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrate strong ethics and follow company policies and procedures.

• Have excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Be able to read and follow written work instructions.

• Understand mathematical equations and calculations applicable to the position.

• Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and a commitment to quality.

• Possess good mechanical aptitude.

• Have experience with blueprint reading, measurement equipment, and operational controls.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records.

• Have advanced safety and EPA training.

• Possess a 2-year technical degree with a strong chemistry or environmental focus, or equivalent relevant experience.

Work Environment

This position involves working with industrial chemicals, heavy metals, and wastewater generated through metal-plating operations. Candidates must be committed to following established safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $20.00/hour
