Chemical Operator in Evans City, $20-25/hr

Are you looking for a step up from repetitive labor tasks but like the consistency, benefits and advancement available in manufacturing?

We're looking for experienced manufacturing candidates who are interested in advancement and willingness to learn how to work with chemical production. Take your production experience to a new setting and learn to create, control and transfer batches of products per project.

Candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to work with common hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, air and battery-operated tools). Basic knowledge of common household chemicals and hazards is also required.

Requires:

• 12-18 monthsexperience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic Math skills- Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and convert fractions to decimals.

• Basic Computer skills: Windows, Office/Email systems.

• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including face shields & respirators, glasses, gloves, hard hats and so forth.

• Prefer experience wearing more advanced PPE, including respirators.

• Mustpossessa valid driver's license

• Prefer forklift experience

• GED/High School Diplomarequired

• Pre-employment requirements include a thorough background check and drug screen. Ability to pass a physical will also be required at the point of permanent hire.

Rotating 8- Hour Shift Schedule: Must be able to workall ofthe shifts and rotate between days and nights.
