Join an established chemical manufacturing company in Taylors, SC for a hands-on Chemical Operator opportunity.
We're looking for candidates who are comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing environment and have experience working with chemical batches, raw materials, production equipment, and detailed process instructions.

What You'll Do:
- Follow batch sheets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements
- Handle and process raw materials used in chemical production
- Measure, mix, and process materials according to batch instructions
- Monitor chemical reactions and production processes
- Monitor and manage pH levels during production processes
- Operate production and batch-processing equipment
- Work with pressure and vacuum tanks
- Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and follow proper chemical-handling procedures
- Verify correct materials before beginning production batches
- Complete batch sheets and production documentation accurately
- Work closely with Quality Control to ensure batches meet specifications
- Properly identify and label raw materials, finished goods, tanks, totes, and drums
- Load and unload chemical tankers as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused production area
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and process abnormalities to supervision
What We're Looking For:
- Previous chemical manufacturing, chemical operator, batch-processing, or related production experience preferred
- Experience with batch handling and raw materials
- Understanding of chemical mixing/reactions and production processes
- Experience monitoring or managing pH levels is a plus
- Experience working with pressure/vacuum tanks is a plus
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow detailed batch sheets, formulas, and process instructions
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Reliable and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Must be able to train on 1st shift before transitioning to a permanent 2nd or 3rd shift
