Job Description
Job Overview:
Operate chemical processing equipment like mixers, reactors, tanks, pumps, and adjusts flow rates, temperatures, and pressures as needed.
Test the product to assure quality standards ar.
Monitor process variables using gauges, meters, and control panels to identify potential issues and ensure product quality remains within specifications
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and report significant problems to the maintenance department.
Clean and sanitize work station and equipment.
Basic understanding of chemistry, chemical reactions, and unit operations involved in chemical manufacturing.
The ability to work overtime is required.
Minimum of two years related experience or equivalent.
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, climb stairs, bend, lift, twist, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach and stoop as needed, and to occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
