Position Summary:
The Filling and Packaging Operator II is responsible for more advanced setup and operation of liquid filling and packaging lines, including troubleshooting and performing complex mechanical adjustments. They ensure compliance with quality standards, maintain detailed production records, and assist in training new operators.
Start dates are 6/1/26 & 6/22/26 for the "Go Live" date of 8/1/26*
*Hours: *10pm - 6:30am central time Monday through Friday.
**Pay: **$23.59 + $0.75 shift differential & bonus.
*Automatic pay raise to $24.24 effective 7/1/26
**Location: **7405 Page Ave St. Louis, MO.
**Hire Type: **Direct, Full Time, Union.
What You'll Do:
Is responsible for the daily set up and operation of the complete filling and packaging line, consisting of:- bottle in-feed
Notify supervisor or other authorized personnel of the need for packaging supplies or other materials for the packaging line.
Ensure correct hose hookups and operation of control panels which control the flow of materials to the packaging line.
Meet production schedules as outlined by supervision and for keeping written records as required.
Set up and minor maintenance of all filling line equipment and will assist Maintenance as necessary.
Must be capable of performing proper palletization of finished or unfinished products and storing them in the proper place as designated.
Exercise extreme caution in order to not damage other material or property while operating moving equipment and must at all times exercise extreme caution for the safety of other employees.
Responsible for the proper filling, weighing, capping, sealing, casing labeling and coding of all products including:- powders
Setup and adjustment of equipment when changing over various size containers on the filling lines.
Adjust weights for various size containers on the filling lines as needed.
Record daily production along with other appropriate documentation as required by management (i.e. cGMP and ISO procedures) and turn in at the end of each day.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Mark containers of hazardous waste, such as Cal Stat washout liquid, etc., as “Hazardous Waste”.

Acceptable hand/eye coordination.Acceptable peripheral vision, manual dexterity, able to read scales, dials and gages, able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
Equipment listed below (Specific Job Requirements)may be used as needed to assist in these Required Competencies.
Specific Job Requirements:- Automatic liquid filling machine, pumps, filters, scales, sealer, capper, valves, cap torquer, hoses, videojet coding equipment and monitoring components to the line, monitoring all liquid filling line equipment, make hook ups from different lines, routine mechanical adjustments to filling line equipment and during line change over.
Performs necessary quality and inventory control data gathering and input in either written or electronic formats.
Ability to work minimal supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.
