Job Overview:

Vertiv is seeking a Channel Distribution Supply Chain Manager to support Channel Operations in collaboration with Sales and Offering teams, driving growth and maximizing sell-out through the Distribution network. This role independently manages the Container Direct Program between Vertiv and Distribution Partners, overseeing program management, supply chain planning, stocking strategies, and analytics to optimize service levels and inventory. The manager will coordinate inventory planning and replenishment, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and apply analytical tools to meet targets. They will also lead process improvements to enhance transparency, visibility, and the accuracy of demand-to-supply alignment across the Channel network.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the demand and supply planning efforts between Vertiv and distribution partners.
  • Monitor and manage the distribution container direct orders sales orders through delivery.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive views of key tracking data across the distribution network and internally of inventories, sell out, sell in, in stock, service, and other performance data. Automate where possible. 
  • Perform inventory stocking strategy and order quantity analyses and partner with distribution 
  • Partner with Offering, distribution, Sales, Demand Planning, and Purchasing on stocking plans for NPDI, promotions, or other strategic sales initiatives. 
  • Track and communicate supply chain constraints. 
  • Lead recurring and ad hoc meetings between distribution and Vertiv teams.
  • Partner with Sales and Offering on allocation options during supply shortages.
  • Business process analysis and own the design and improvement of  tools and processes. 
  • Effectively resolve roadblocks to collection of complete and accurate data and adoption.
  • Using data analysis methods, develop recommendations to leadership for improvements in reporting, KPI’s and risk management.
  • Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, business or finance.
  • 5 or more; Years in supply chain management
  • Minimum of 5 years of analytical experience performing detailed analyses.
  • Independence, works with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with analytical tools – MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI.
  • Previous experience with SAP or Oracle or other ERP.
  • PDCA mindset with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capability to execute through challenges
  • Excellent communications skills – written & verbal
