The CH-53K Israel Air Force (IAF) Blue Capture Manager (CM) is responsible for the leadership and performance of the assigned cross-functional team to define, propose, negotiate and capture the Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) IAF Blue contract award in accordance with the RMS win plan. The IAF Blue contract includes development, production, and sustainment elements. The IAF Blue CM will lead, and has the authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit efforts from RFP through contract award including but not limited to development and/or approval of the proposal strategy, executable Statement of Work, risk identification and mitigation plan, negotiation/settlement strategies (with Contracts lead), proposal cost volume, proposal Gate review data packages and customer Requests for Information (RFI). The Capture Manager will also coordinate all required leadership approval briefings, develop and manage pursuit Bid and Proposal (B&P) funding as well as track and report proposal timeline metrics for the dual purpose of awareness and improvement. The position will report directly to the CH-53K Program Director.

The qualified individual must be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with internal and external customers, possess the ability to interpret Requests for Proposal (RFPs) contract terms and develop capture strategies as they relate to risks and opportunities.

The IAF Blue Capture Manager will also maintain ongoing interaction with IAF Business Development lead and support other potential international CH-53K capture opportunities after Israel.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 years or more of professional experience; or 6 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

LM or Sikorsky program management or business acquisition/ Capture Management experience is required.
Proposal preparation, management review coordination/participation, proposal submissions, fact-finding, and contract negotiations.
Strategy development and technology roadmaps experience.

U.S. citizen that is qualified to obtain a U.S. Gov’t security clearance.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $128,400 - $214,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
