Ceramics Slip Cast Operator

Schedule:

Full Time: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday 

Position Summary: 

LECO’s Ceramic facility, located in Benton Harbor, is looking for a Ceramics Slip Cast Operator.  This is a first shift position, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with overtime as needed. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Must be able to read Blueprints
• Possess the ability to mix batches of material
• Pour molds
• Load kilns
• Machine parts to print specifications
• Use measuring tools
• Inspect parts that they manufacture
• Assembly and final pack
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or group leader
• Approve records indicated by process or record

Position Requirements: 

• Work with minimum supervision
• Basic Quality Skills class
• Must follow all department procedures

Education/Certifications: 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
