The Design Engineer – Ceramic RF Filters has these main job functions:
- Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
- Determines design approaches and parameters.
- Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
- Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
- May also review vendor capability to support product development
Competencies:
- Design simulation tool or equivalent (HFSS, Cadence, other)
- Circuit design knowledge
- Systems engineering or device characterization knowledge
- Ability to build product based on simulations
- Ability to define product for production
- 3+ years experience
- Primary function will be the design of ceramic monoblock filters. Experience designing any of the following filter types is helpful: waveguide, cavity, combline, microstrip, stripline, suspended substrate, and LC
Job Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical or RF Engineering field or equivalent work experience
- US citizenship is required
