Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting CDL Drivers for multiple clients throughout the Wilmington, NC area (28403 and surrounding areas). We work with a variety of local companies and have opportunities for dependable, safety-focused drivers with different levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for operation.
• Transport materials, products, or equipment to designated locations safely and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, maintenance, and hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding routes, schedules, and deliveries.
• Follow company and client policies and procedures related to safety and operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent service while representing our clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred; 2+ years of experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading cargo when required.
• Must be committed to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
