CDL Driver - Class B #1023

Location: Waukesha, WI 53186

Rate: $22 - $24/hour (Based on experince)

Position Overview

The CDL Class B Driver is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of insulation products to customer job sites. This role combines local driving with hands‑on material handling and warehouse support as needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in safety, reliability, and providing excellent service to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver insulation and related building products to scheduled job sites in a timely and professional manner
• Load, unload, and stage products onto trucks for daily deliveries
• Operate vehicles according to DOT regulations and company safety standards within a pre‑determined driving schedule
• Perform daily pre‑trip inspections and assist with minor vehicle maintenance when necessary
• Report mechanical or maintenance concerns promptly to management
• Complete required paperwork accurately, including delivery tickets, bills of lading, customer‑signed receipts, and COD transactions when applicable
• Communicate job‑site or customer service issues encountered during deliveries to management
• Assist with warehouse duties and may work in warehouse roles between scheduled deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned equipment and work areas
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license, in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy
• Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience within the past five years operating a straight truck or tractor/trailer
• Have and maintain a valid DOT medical card
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record per insurance requirements as a condition of continued employment
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle building materials
