CDL Driver – Flatbed & Moffett/Piggyback Forklift

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering materials to customer locations and jobsites using flatbed equipment. Prior flatbed and Moffett experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver materials to customer shops and jobsites.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials using flatbed equipment.
• Operate a Moffett/piggyback forklift to unload materials at customer locations and jobsites.
• Assess delivery and jobsite conditions to ensure materials can be unloaded safely.
• Properly secure loads and verify materials prior to transport.
• Obtain required signatures and complete delivery documentation.
• Complete required pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and driver logs.
• Assist with loading and unloading pipe and other materials as needed.
• Maintain safe operation of vehicles and material-handling equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support branch and customer operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Flatbed driving experience required.
• Moffett/piggyback forklift operating experience required.
• Experience with proper load securement required.
• Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience.
• Current DOT medical certification and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and handle materials.
• Ability to work early mornings and occasional nights or weekends based on delivery needs.
• Strong safety awareness, reliability, and customer service skills.
