Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating manual transmission truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.Day cab, reefer, 53-footer, local, No Touch Freight, just dropping of and picking up.
A truck driver's job description typically includes but not limited to:
- Driving: Driving a truck to transport goods and materials between locations, such as manufacturing plants, retail centers, or distribution centers. This may involve long-distance driving and driving throughout the night.
- Loading and unloading: Picking up, verifying, and delivering cargo, and helping to load and unload it. This may include limiting the load to a safe capacity.
- Safety: Following traffic laws, safe work practices, and policies. This may include securing cargo and arranging it properly within the vehicle.
- Documentation: Keeping records and making reports as required, such as a detailed log of working hours. This may also include completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy.
- Communication: Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers.
- Planning: Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
Truck drivers may also need to be able to lift, push, and pull heavy loads, kneel, squat, and climb ladders and stairs
Qualifications
- Pass Background Check
- Pass Drug Test
- Clean Driving History
- Experience(2 years)
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- Bilingual(English and Spanish)
- Able to drive Manual Transmission
