Job Description

**Job Summary: **Haul of poultry feed between sites, ensuring timely delivery of all equipment, operating heavy equipment, and more. Our drivers are in 10 speed double bunk road trucks supporting our Flock Services team as their primary responsibility. Drivers will also assist in the loading/unloading of truck, operating the hydraulic tail gate, and performing other duties as assigned. Will be home every night and flexible daytime hours. Wage is negatable with job experience.

Job Duties:

• Learn the basic flow of finished feed in the mill and the layout of the layer and pullet sites.
• Safely and accurately delivers finished feed from the feed mill.
• Ensures that the correct feed is placed in the correct house.
• Inspects and bags samples of each lead delivered.
• Assures trailer is empty and clean after each delivery.
• Protects feed from contamination during loading, transport and delivery.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure that the transportation equipment is in satisfactory conditions.
• Reports all deficiencies or issues to the feed mill manager or designee.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Maintain a valid Class A CDL interstate or Ohio intrastate.
• Posses a valid medical card.
• Able to pass DOT drug/alcohol screen.
• Pass background check.
• Able to use simple computer programs.
• Able to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to be flexible on hours.
