PURPOSE
Geocycle has an immediate opening for 1 Class A CDL driver. Geocycle is a leading provider of waste management services worldwide. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the operation of single and tandem axle tractor trailer combinations requiring a Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement. Successful candidates are expected to work and drive safely and to provide a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
- Assert manual labor and lifting of waste tires from customer locations
- Posesses proven customer service and organizational skills,
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of truck/trailer components ie. (brakes, lights, tires, suspension, engine components, coupling devices,etc.) and the ability to perform a quality vehicle inspection.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: High school diploma/GED.
Required License: Valid Class A CDL with a double endoresment.
Additional Requirements:
- An excellent driving record is required.
