Local CDL-B Driver & Technician

We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL-B Driver & Technician to join our team. This role combines local driving responsibilities with hands-on technical work, including inspections, troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and repair of industrial, commercial, and retail weighing equipment at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class B commercial vehicle safely and professionally.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, calibration, and repairs on customer-owned equipment.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
- Complete service documentation using mobile devices and computer applications.
- Work collaboratively with team members and customers.
- Participate in occasional on-call evening and weekend rotations as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or higher, or willingness to obtain a CDL-B license.
- Ability to regularly lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, internet use, and mobile applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Troubleshooting experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, transportation, or field service environments.
- Military experience is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
