Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL B Driver to operate a 26’ box truck for local deliveries throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a driver who takes pride in punctuality, customer service, and maintaining equipment to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck to deliver farm products to customers, markets, and distribution points
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
• Follow scheduled delivery routes while maintaining on-time performance
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations
• Keep vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class B preferred; Class A accepted)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Previous experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle
• Ability to lift, move, and handle products as needed
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Schedule:

• Full-time- home daily
• Typical shifts may include early morning starts

Compensation:
