Local CDL A Driver / Rigger

Monday through Friday, 1st Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver/Rigger to join our team. This position is responsible for performing rigging duties and operating semi tractors and trailers safely and efficiently on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have experience moving and installing heavy equipment, working with rigging systems, and collaborating with team members to complete projects safely and on schedule.
5% Driving, 95% Dismantling, relocating, installing, and repairs of industrial equipment and machinery onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate semi tractors and trailers to transport equipment and materials.
- Perform rigging duties, including loading, unloading, lifting, and positioning machinery.
- Assist with the dismantling, relocation, installation, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate project activities and ensure safe operations.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Current DOT physical certification.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
- Certified forklift operator, or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong knowledge of proper load securement and material handling practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, pallet jacks, dollies, welders, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials when required.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving and rigging experience.
- Experience with machinery moving, industrial installation, or heavy-haul transportation is preferred.
