Job Title: CDL A Driver – 1st Shift

Location: Willoughby Hills, OH

Hourly Rate: $25 - $26 per hour

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE; MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, NO ACCIDENTS OR POINTS.

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Driver to join their team at a local produce manufacturer. This is a 1st shift position with competitive pay and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the driver to operate a CDL A truck, load and unload products, and ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a CDL A truck to deliver and pick up products in a timely and safe manner.
• Load and unload product at various locations, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Operate dollies, forklifts, and other equipment to move and secure products as needed.
• Ensure the safe transportation of goods, following all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including product counts and delivery details.
• Return home every night after completing the daily route.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring safe driving practices.
• Ensure that the vehicle is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues.
• Be available for occasional overtime based on business needs.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL A driver’s license with no points on the record.
• Ability to load/unload products and operate dollies and forklifts (experience required).
• Trips to Indiana
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a driving and loading/unloading role is preferred.
