Job Title: Experienced CDL A Driver / Yard & Warehouse Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of driving experience, along with hands-on expertise operating Moffett forklifts, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks. When not on the road making deliveries, you will assist with operations in the yard and warehouse, including loading/unloading materials and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving and Deliveries:

Safely operate a CDL A vehicle to deliver materials to customer locations on time.
Operate Moffett forklifts to unload materials at delivery sites.
Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips and report any issues.
Ensure materials are properly secured and delivery documentation is accurate.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Yard and Warehouse Operations:

Operate Moffett, sit-down, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks to load and unload materials.
Assist in stocking inventory and maintaining accurate records.
Prepare orders for delivery and ensure proper loading of vehicles.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in the yard and warehouse.
Assist customers and team members with locating and moving materials.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation and material handling.
Participate in routine safety training and equipment inspections.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL A License with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL A Driver.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Moffett forklift, sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, and reach truck.
Familiarity with yard and warehouse operations.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to pass a DOT Drug Test
Must have steel toed boots

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the lumber or building materials industry is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
