Join our dynamic team at our Metal Recycling Facility in Bentonville, AR, as a CDL-A Driver! We are dedicated to sustainability and providing top-notch recycling services. As a CDL-A Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting materials safely and efficiently, ensuring that our operations run smoothly while contributing to a greener future.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport scrap metal and other materials to and from the facility.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and materials transported.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and waste management.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and facility personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Participate in training and safety meetings to enhance skills and knowledge of recycling processes.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
