CDL-A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and pick up construction access equipment and accessories at commercial, residential, and industrial jobsites.

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation in accordance with company and DOT guidelines.

• Load and unload construction equipment without the use of a forklift or lull when required.

• Verify material counts and accurately document shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with on-site customers and jobsite representatives.

• Obtain required customer signatures and provide delivery paperwork and safety documentation.

• Support warehouse operations when not driving, including inspecting, reconditioning, loading, unloading, and organizing construction access equipment.

• Maintain company vehicles and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and operational procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial CDL-A driving experience.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).

• Valid DOT Medical Card.

• Clean driving record with no more than two incidents within the past three years and no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions within the past five years.

• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport construction equipment.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to consistently lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.

• Must successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and employment eligibility verification.

Education
