Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate and maintain multiple CNC machines. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance and part quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Lathes and/or Mills simultaneously in a production environment.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Monitor machining operations and perform routine quality checks using precision measuring tools.
Identify and resolve machine or part issues to reduce downtime and scrap rates.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC machining equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with multi-machine setups.
Basic knowledge of G-code and machine offsets.
Previous manufacturing experience in a high-volume shop.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position. Evening Shift: 10hrs M-Th
Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to moderate industrial noise.
