Responsibilities

• Crane operations
• Ladle Slidegate Operations
• Caster Mold Tender
• Servicing of Caster Strand
• Stocking Deck Caster/LMF
• LMF Heat Processing
• LMF Lab Operations
• Operate Mobile Equipment
• Housekeeping

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to operate sky track
• Ability to operate overhead crane
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform refractory jobs
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong math skills
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Apply safety practices
• Physical capabilities to lift 50 lbs, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders repeatedly
• Will move into open positions as they become available in the refractory department as assigned by Supervisor and Day Lead.
