Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Crate Builders to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. This position involves building custom wooden crates for industrial products using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to accurately read tape measurements and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom wooden crates and pallets.
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
• Operate hand and power tools, including drills, circular saws, miter saws, and nail guns.
• Cut, measure, and assemble wood according to specifications.
• Inspect finished crates for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpentry, crate building, woodworking, framing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Experience using power tools and saws.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
