Job Overview:
Carpenter - Southfield, Michigan
One-Month Contract position
Day Shift - Pay: $19.00 per hour

One-Month Contract position

Duties of the Carpenter:
- Plans, selects, lays out and cuts materials for shop carpentry to construct, remodel, alter, and repair offices, furniture, stairways, factory partitions, benches, storage bins, shelves, etc.
- Performs general building maintenance works such as repairs to roof, stairs, doors, windows, floor, laying, etc.
- Works under direct supervision of senior carpenter or carpenter lead
- May be required to assist with general utility and shipping & receiving duties when needed

Requirements of the Carpenter:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Required Skills: Door Repair, Shop Carpentry, General Building Maintenance, Roof Repair, Stair Repair
- Additional skills: Window Repair, Floor Repair, Material Selection, Material Layout, Material Cutting
