We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter for a residential construction company in Eugene, OR. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications.
• Construct and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures, such as initial framing for new home builds, windows, door frames, and staircases.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical condition and stamina for manual labor.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
