A Calibration Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and adjusting instruments and equipment to ensure they meet established standards of accuracy and performance.

SPECIALIZATION:
CALIBRATION: Manages the calibration system to ensure the electrical, mechanical, and electronic measurement tools comply with all the requirements according to the stablished standards. Ensures that all the tools are calibrated either to the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technologies) traceability pattern reference, or to the tool manufacture’s specifications. Plans the sequence of test and measurement tools to be calibrated. Coordinates the calibration of measurement tools with external vendors. Coordinates sourcing activities for new calibration vendors that are aligned with the requirements of the instruments to be calibrated. Manages the database for tool control that specifies entries, exits and obsolescence.
