**Job Role: Test Equipment Technician – Calibration Technician

**

**Job location: 5600 Sand Lake Road Orlando, FL- 32819

**Job duration: 12 Months

**

**Job rate: $35.96 Hourly OT40 

**

**Work Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift

**

**Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain

**

Candidates must have at least 2+ Years of Experience with the following:

1-Experience working with and measuring optics

2-Experience with test measurement calibration tools (interferometer, autocollimator, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM)

3-Electronic experience

4-Physical calibration experience

5- Experience with Indy soft (current calibration system used by team)

6-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (to read procedures)

7-High school diploma required (No degree required)

First shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 6:30am-4:30pm

**Job Description:

**

Calibrates optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.

Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains optical, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.

Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.

Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
