Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic / Calibration Technician to support calibration, testing, and documentation of electronic equipment in compliance with NIST standards and ISO 9001 quality systems.

This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of our precision measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, verification, and testing of electronic equipment following established procedures and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate calibration records and certificates for traceability and compliance
  • Support internal and external audits related to calibration processes
  • Troubleshoot and assist in repair of electronic equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve processes
  • Assist with electronic assembly tasks, including inspection, testing, and soldering

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in electronic calibration and/or assembly
  • Experience using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, frequency counters)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar)
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems
  • Additional hands-on experience with electronic assembly
