Keller is looking for an experienced AutoCAD Technician to perform structural, and geotechnical drawings based out of our Odenton, MD location. In this position, you will be responsible for conferring with engineers to interpret design concepts and produce final construction drawings.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Providing drafting and designing support by preparing and maintaining engineering drawings
• Completing red-lined as-built drawings
• Preparing designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics
• Providing recommendations for modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification
• Identifying and communicating conflicts between proposed and existing construction to the engineering team
• Producing complex technical drawings
• Preparing working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product
• Coordinating CAD projects with other team members
• Generating and coordinating files for project layout

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

• AS Degree preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience working as a CAD Tech/Drafter
• Sound technical knowledge
• Problem solving and commonsense
• Communication and teamwork
• Commercial instincts
• Get-it-done attitude
• Ability to meet hectic and changing schedules and deadlines
