Kocher + Beck USA, L.P. in Lenexa, KS is seeking candidates who enjoy a fast-paced environment to join their team! This role is responsible for designing, quick turn dies for customers in the label and envelope industry. Employee would regularly communicate with Customer Service and production teams to coordinate order details. 

Position Type and Hours

This is a permanent full-time, salary position. Core hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and will work overtime as needed based on workload.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate MGCAD to produce quick-turning CAD files 

• Design dies for customers in the label and envelope industry 

• Work with Corel Draw, Auto CAD, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand 

• Prepare drawings from customer samples and for customers 

• Prepare milling files for CNC machinists and ensure that all files are working properly 

• Operate the plotter as well as inspect and correct film 

Requirements

  Requirements 

• Requires a 2-year degree or equivalent experience 

• Some CAD experience desirable, but not required 

• Experience with graphic software is a plus 

• Good computer literacy 

• Must be detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious, and able to work independently 

• Possess strong organization skills 

• Proficient in math 

• Good understanding of relationships in geometrical shapes 

• Must be able to handle multi-task/projects 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
