CAD DESIGNER

Contract / Contract- Hire

We are seeking a talented and creative CAD Designer to join our dynamic team in Elkhart, IN on a **6 month contract **with potential for full time. As a CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into detailed technical drawings and designs that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and project progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD software and design techniques.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CAD design, engineering technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
