Description

Pay Range: $20/hr - $28/hr

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Summary: Designing, building, repairing wood built items; identifying repair and/or replacement needs; assisting other skilled trades; completing construction projects safety and within established budget and time constraints; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; and ensuring adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Machine and assemble cabinets and drawer bodies by hand, using a variety of hand tools, including, but not limited to: routers, saws, power tools and table saws

Ability to use calipers and micrometers

Maintains tools and equipment, for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items in safe operating condition

Coordinates with leads and supervisor and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently

Checks parts for aesthetics

Read and comprehend job tickets, drawings, quality policies, procedures, and standards

Ability to inspect product to insure compliance to standards 

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
