Monday- Thursday 10hr shifts starting at 6 or 7am, If Friday OT typically getting off earlier
Job Overview
Build and assemble cabinets and related wood components using woodworking machines and hand tools. Prepare parts for finishing, install hardware, and support production by measuring, cutting, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate woodworking equipment to cut and shape lumber components to specification
- Prepare surfaces and joints (including sanding and cleanup) prior to finishing
- Assemble cabinet parts and install hardware such as hinges, pulls, knobs, and catches
- Build or assist with fixtures and custom wood items based on production instructions and cut lists
- Use hand tools and power tools to fit joints accurately and complete required modifications
- Maintain tools and workspace organization, including tracking materials/labor as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or building
- Ability to follow work orders, read equipment manuals, and document/prepare production reports
- Mechanical aptitude and capability with both hand and power tools
- Ability to interpret shop instructions and work from measurements/specifications
- Comfort working in a climate-controlled but noisy environment
